Sight and Life is looking for a consultant videographer to produce high-quality short documentary style videos. Topics will be related to maternal and child health, nutrition, food systems, climate, and the link between them all. 


We are looking for a creative individual who will bring a smart contemporary look and feel to our work, making it digestible for a wide variety of audiences, from vulnerable populations to funders to government and policy stakeholders. 


The chosen videographer will be required to travel to locations in Asia and Africa where our work is currently ongoing, and upcoming in the near future. Each project will involve pre-production, filming, editing, and delivery of the final short and long videos, as well as promotional videos for social media. 


We would like to work with someone who will take full ownership of this work and who will be proud to work on our mission to close the nutrition gap. 

Deliverables
  • A 10-minute documentary (Filming Only)
  • 5, 3 and 1-minute videos (Edited from master video)
  • A 30-second banner website video
  • A 30-second social media video optimized for promotional use
  • Delivery of all interview footage
  • 45 high-res still images for promotional materials, including drone footage
  • All b-roll shots, music etc as required for the final delivery video
Exclusions
  • Script or narrative building of the video
  • Script adjustments/ editing if required
  • Travel costs, which will be against actuals
Proposal Requirements
  • A brief overview of your experience in documentary filmmaking
  • Examples of past work, including a link to a portfolio or previous documentaries/ feature videos
  • Proposed budget with itemized breakdown of cost
  • Proposed timeline and availability for the year
  • References from previous clients or collaborators
