Purpose: Sight and Life is seeking an experienced dashboard development consultant to support its global programs in public health and nutrition. The consultant will design interactive dashboards that translate programmatic and MEL data into actionable insights for internal teams, donors, and implementing partners.
Objectives
- Translate complex monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) data into intuitive, interactive dashboards
- Visualize real-time progress across programmatic workstreams and geographies
- Build a flexible dashboard system that supports decision-making, reporting, and advocacy
Scope of Work
- Strategy & Co-Design
- Consult with program, MEL, and advocacy teams to align dashboards with user needs
- Define architecture and indicator frameworks that support global and country-specific use
- Dashboard Development
- Design and build multiple dashboard views, including:
- Donor Dashboard – High-level metrics, milestones, targets
- Program Dashboard – Project implementation and workstream tracking
- Country Dashboards – Localized data views
- Integrate filters by geography, timeline, workstream, delivery channel, project owners, and year
- Ensure exportability, usability, and metadata documentation
- Training & Handover
- Conduct virtual trainings for Sight and Life teams
- Provide editable source files, a user guide, and documentation for dashboard maintenance
Deliverables
- Dashboard architecture and indicator mapping
- Interactive dashboards tailored to key audiences
- Training session(s) and accompanying user manual
- Final editable files and technical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience designing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Ability to convert MEL data into engaging visual formats
- Strong understanding of global health or development program contexts
- Experience working with INGOs and donor-funded programs preferred
