

Mope Ogunsulire is an experienced investment professional with a background in international corporate and project finance (M&A, development finance, syndications) and engineering. She has closed transactions covering multiple sectors including food and agribusiness, industrial services and environmental services. She currently runs an impact first investment fund that provides growth capital to social enterprises serving smallholder farmers in Africa.
Her experience spans both the private and public sector, as well as multilateral development and covers mature (North America, Europe) and emerging markets (Africa, South America, and Asia). At global industrial services group, SGS, she led corporate M&A, making acquisitions for the group worldwide. Prior to that, as part of the Agribusiness investment team at the International Finance Corporation (part of the World Bank Group) she executed project finance transactions and arranged loan syndications for IFCclients in Latin America, Africa and Asia. She also managed a portfolio of loan and equity assets and relationships with syndicate banks. Before switching to finance, Mope worked in construction project management and structural engineering design of water, power and transport infrastructure projects.
Her volunteer work focuses on food/agribusiness and education. She serves on the Board of Trustees of EIBF, a UK charity that trains engineers. She is also a panel judge and mentor for the EIT Food Accelerator Network & MassChallenge (a top 10 global start-up accelerator). Mope holds degrees in civil engineering and finance, and an MBA from IMD, Switzerland.
