Welcome to the website of Sight and Life, the nutrition think tank and humanitarian initiative which is committed to fighting micronutrient malnutrition. Sight and Life was founded in 1986 to combat vitamin A deficiency in the developing world. However, we have evolved considerably over time to reflect the changing world in which we operate.
From sight to life
We also reflect new scientific developments in the field of micronutrients. Today, our focus has moved from "sight", a single condition, a single vitamin focus, to "life" itself. We embrace an all-encompassing approach to micronutrients and their broader role in improving nutrition and promoting health and wellbeing, and preventing disease, disability and death.
