Sight and Life not only supports scientific research and organizes workshops and awards education grants. We also provide educational materials such as books and brochures. These major publications address the information needs of health workers, scientists, representatives of governmental/non-governmental agencies and the media.
A wide range
First and foremost of our publications is our scientific Sight and Life Magazine. However, we also publish field-adaptable manuals and books, and we produce movies and documentaries on key hidden hunger issues. Thanks to the wide exposure which is made possible through the global circulation of Sight and Life Magazine, we also collect and distribute relevant publications and other useful tools from other organizations. Manuals on vitamin A deficiency and nutritional anemia, and a documentary on the double burden on malnutrition, are just some of the wide range of available materials.
Adapting to specific needs
We want Sight and Life’s information products to make it easier for individuals or organizations which are working to improve nutrition to develop and adapt teaching tools to local needs. We also want our publications to help people acquire sufficient knowledge to take the most effective action, in the least amount of time. Any of our materials can be downloaded – free of charge – in electronic formats from this website. Some of them can also be mailed as hard copy on request.
