Three over-arching goals guide the work of SIGHT AND LIFE:

 – Enabling effective and sustained partnerships with
renowned universities, governmental and UN agencies,
    and NGOs
 – Facilitating the free exchange of knowledge and wide
    diffusion of scientific information
 – Achieving critical mass through the formation of cross
disciplinary, global and grass roots networks in the fight
    against Hidden Hunger

In operationalizing these goals, SIGHT AND LIFE is involved in research and project activities that deal with pressing health issues related to Hidden Hunger , such as Nutritional Anemia , and the Double Burden of Malnutrition . SIGHT AND LIFE’s involvement in research and project activities focuses on two areas of assistance:

    – Knowledge Creation and Diffusion
    – Supplementation and In-Home Fortification

Since its founding, SIGHT AND LIFE has supported more than 3,000 research and project activities in over 80 countries in Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America. These projects are conducted in collaboration with universities, UN agencies and non-government and government organizations to help improve micronutrient nutrition in developing countries.
